Robert Sabin
General Manager - Hilton Omaha
Robert Sabin is the General Manager of Hilton Omaha, Nebraska’s largest hotel. His exposure to legendary hospitality venues during his upbringing, fueled by his parents’ love for travel and food, laid the foundation for his career. A proud Midwest native, Robert earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ohio State University and spent over a decade in various roles in restaurants, nightclubs, and live music.
Initiating his hotel career as General Manager of the 4 diamond Hollywood Prime steakhouse in the Diplomat Resort & Spa in 2002, Robert progressively climbed the ranks to become the Assistant Food and Beverage Director for Restaurants. His hospitality journey has included opening locations for prestigious establishments such as St. Regis and W Hotels in Washington, D.C. In 2017, Robert achieved a Connie Award as the General Manager of the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
Robert joined the Hilton Omaha team as General Manager in 2018. In this role, Robert efficiently manages and leads a team of 300 employees. Over the past four years, Robert successfully led the Hilton Omaha team through a $15 million comprehensive renovation. With the completion of Nick’s Quorum Bar & Supper Club, the Hilton Omaha is poised to be reestablished as a premier destination in the central U.S.
Robert is enthusiastic about infusing a modern and refined dining experience into the Supper Club concept. Believing in the significance of prioritizing people, Robert emphasizes, “You must focus on people first. Team members and guests are the first ingredients in this recipe.”
Outside of work, Robert is an avid hockey player and enjoys traveling with his wife, Sacha, and their two daughters, Riley and Harper. Committed to fostering community growth in the hospitality and tourism section, Robert holds the positions of President of the Metro Hospitality Association of Greater Omaha and Chair of the Nebraska Tourism Commission.
