Marvin Woods
Culinary Director
Marvin Woods is the Culinary Director of Nick’s Quorum Bar & Supper Club, leading the culinary team at Omaha, NE’s newest modern supper club. A native of northeast New Jersey, Woods’ culinary journey began with an early love for cooking. After graduating high school, he swiftly entered culinary school, attending Atlantic Cape May’s Academy of Culinary Arts.
With over three decades in the hospitality industry, Woods brings a wealth of experience to the Nick’s Quorum team, including working at renowned New York restaurants, The Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center, and the iconic Windows on the World at the World Trade Center.
He’s cooked for President Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama, and in 2010, Woods was selected to launch and lead Michelle’s Let’s Move! campaign to help families create delicious, healthful, and affordable meals.
In addition, Woods has authored multiple cookbooks, and was nominated for an Emmy Award as a television host. In TK year, Marvin was selected to launch and lead Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Campaign to help families create delicious and affordable meals.
In August 2024, Woods joined the opening team at Nick’s Quorum Bar & Supper Club as Culinary Director. In his role, Woods crafted the opening menus and oversees culinary operations alongside Executive Chef Cindy Long. With a flavor-forward, coastal soul approach to the modern supper club-inspired menu, Woods’ goal is to provide a memorable dining experience to each patron who walks in the door.
Outside of work, Woods enjoys long-distance cycling, golf, and quality time with friends and family.
